Acts & Ordinances HOLIDAYS ACT Marginal Notes 1. This Act may be cited as the Holidays Act, No. 29 of 1971, and shall come into operation on such date as the Minister may appoint by Order published in the Gazette. 2. Declaration regarding Full Moon Poya Days and Sundays. 3. Additional public and bank holidays. 4. Minister may amend Schedules to this Act. 5.
