Acts & Ordinances ANURADHAPURA URBAN COUNCIL (SPECIAL PROVISIONS) Marginal Notes 1. This Act may be cited as the Anuradhapura Urban Council (Special Provisions) Act, No. 28 of 1969. 2. Urban Councils Ordinance to operate in area which is to be excluded from Area of Authority of Anuradhapura Preservation Board. 3. Transfer and vesting of property, rights, duties, &c, of Anuradhapura Preservation Board in Anuradhapura Urban Council. 4. Other property vested in Council. 5. Vesting not to prejudice right of Crown, &c. 6. Pending suits, appeals, &c, to be continued by or against Council. 7. By-laws and licences in force in any area excluded from Area of Authority to continue in force. 8. Officers and servants of Anuradhapura Preservation Board. 9. Power to transfer money and any movable property of the Anuradhapura Preservation Board. 10. Land revested in the Crown. 11. Amendment of section 3 of the Anuradhapura Preservation Board Act. 12. Interpretation.
