Legislative Enactments PARAMESHVARA COLLEGE Marginal Notes 1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Parameshvara College Ordinance. 2. Incorporation of Paramesh vara College of North Ceylon, and use of a common seal 3. Power to sue and be sued. 4. Right to acquire and dispose of property for the benefit of the said college. 5. Vesting in the board of directors the title deeds, mortgages, &c, held by the trustees of the college. 6. Tenure of the office of president by Sir Ponnambalam Ramanathan. 7. Appointment of successors to Sir Ponnambalam Ramanathan and other directors of the board. 8. Voluntary-retirement of directors. 9. Board to appoint officers and to administer the college. 10. The course of studies to be imparted, and the aims of the college. 11. Meetings of the board. 12. The quorum for a board meeting. 13. All executive power to be vested in the president. 14. Accounts. 15. The board empowered to make, vary, and revoke rules. 16. Saving of the rights of the Crown.
