This Ordinance may be cited as the Rice Reserves Ordinance, and shall be in operation in every such area (hereinafter referred to as a " proclaimed area ") as may for the time being be specified by the Minister by Order published in the Gazette to be an area in which the provisions of this Ordinance shall apply.
