Section No : 1980 Revised version CONTAGIOUS DISEASESMarginal Notes1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Contagious Diseases Ordinance.2. Board of Health within each province. 3. Cases of smallpox or cholera, &c to be reported 4. Medical man to report such cases if not already reported. 5. Houses infected with smallpox may be marketed. Penalty for removing mark. 6. On application of the head of affected person may be removed to hospital. Penalty on person resisting removal. 7. Persons going about whilst the smallpox is upon them may be taken to the hospital. 8. Penalty on persons affected with smallpox wilfully going abroad. 9. Licence required by the Nuisances ordinance to be issued by Board of health. 10. Ordinance not to apply within the limits of an urban Council or Town council.
